You'll need your special knowledge for this week's offering from C&H, if you want to solve it lock, stock and barrel. I can tell you, sotto voce, it will be a cool thing to do, especially in this heat.
ReplyDeleteLast one in was 17d. Favourite - 7d. Nice lurker, but easy to spot.
Thanks for the post, Falcon.
Stay healthy everyone! We need your knowledgeable comments on this blog.
Hello Falcon and fellow puzzlers,
ReplyDeleteI guess we have the whole kit and caboodle today! Definitely a fun puzzle. Once I got 11a and 15a, 22a was a snap. Thought 8d was very cute. 4d was my last one in, had trouble with "Cool".
Thank you for posting Falcon. Enjoy the heat everyone!
Cheers,
MG
Cannot solve 4d, 5d or 13a. I'm annoyed and the heat isn't helping! Nor the deer that ate my crocosmia blossoms.
ReplyDeleteI love homophones by HEX. This time 8d was favorite :-)
ReplyDeleteBack on line. New laptop.
ReplyDeleteMissed the theme, always the best part. Yes trouble with Cool in this heat.
Much easier and less fun than the HEX cryptic in the WSJ titled Masked Singer --- blogs.wsj.com/puzzle
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
