Introduction
I do note that the page on which Saturday's puzzle appears is labelled "Saturday Diversions" suggesting that the puzzles editor may have also prepared a "Monday Diversions" page which did not make it into Saturday's paper.
Then again, I recall that the National Post has, on more than one occasion, published the "Monday Diversions" page in the Tuesday edition of the paper. Thus the missing puzzle might yet make its appearance. What possesses the editors to think that by publishing Monday's puzzle on Tuesday they are providing readers with a diversion on Monday is beyond me!
On the brighter side, we are not as bad off as the horoscope fans. Imagine reading your Monday horoscope on Tuesday only to discover that you totally mis-lived the previous day.
