MG - one of the (many) definitions for con is: to learn; study; peruse or examine carefully (quoted from Dictionary.com). Not often used in everyday English, to be sure. <br />Well today's puzzle, as Carl noted, was straightforward, the bottom half took a bit longer than the top.
